Sketch Girls' Sketch Challenge #4

This one was indeed a challenge but then that is what it all about...

This card is PTI Kraft CS and again a piece of of the Vintage Findings...the background was stamped with PTI Background basics: text style.... and the flowers, bird and sentiment are from the SU Stamp set window dressing... a little coloring with copics...twine and buttons from my stash... this was so much fun....

Penny Black Stamp # 1361K

I colored this yesterday with every Copic I have (i think).... Then today I made this card .... The DP is a retired SU and used SU Old Olive CS and PTI Kraft to make this
4 1/4 X 5 1/2 card.... and SU Certainly Celery Ribbon

I really like how it turned out and have some other stamps laid out to start coloring.... can you tell I like coloring with all the mediums... but copics are very fast moving to the top of the list....

SG 4 Just a little peek

this was a hard one ...... but this went together pretty easily after I picked the paper I wanted to use... just wait till you see this fabulous sketch that
Leigh Ann made for us....it definitely is a challenge but that is what it is all about and just sooooo much FUN, so get ready !!!!!!

New PTI Stamp

I made this card yesterday using my Autumn Abundance stamp from PTI and colored with copic markers..... I love this set and love the copics....

365 Days - Day 175 - Layering Stamps

Challenge today was to layer stamps... not by masking just stamping one on top of another.... so I chose this Penny Black Stamp "golden leaves 3982K" and stamped it with SU mellow moss....then i stamped the flower from SU "Organic Grace" with chocolate chip for the stem and the dusty durango for the flower and for the word "congratulations" - I cut them out and used dimensional under both added my buttons and there you have it.... the card is 5 1/2 X 3 and is made from PTI Kraft paper and imagine and sentiment are stamped on SU very vanilla CS....

365 Days - Day 174 - Just Peachy

This is the closest I can come to peachy... not a peach stamp anywhere and not any really peach colored card stock.... so I am pretending 2 things with this card .....
1). color of card stock is peach color 2). everything on this 5 1/2" X 3" card is straight.... somedays it just doesn't pay to try.... LOL

Today card was mixed messages...that means the sentiment made with different mediums...so here is my card...images are from the Penny Black Stamp "Teddy & Co." . I used SU Old Olive Card Stcok and SU Designers Paper - Tall Tales...colored with PrismaColor Pencils and Sansodor. Used Studio 18 Rhinestones, (2) Ki Memories "Pieces of Me" and the (M E) from my stash unmarked...

Was fun making and hope you enjoy it

Color Throw Down # 56 (CTD56) Challenge and 365 Days #172

I made this card for both challenges... The color throw down was to create a card using SU's new colors Dusty Durango, Soft Suede, and Bermuda Bay...and the other challenge was to make a card using alphas and numbers ...so I thought these colors and numbers just had to be a birthday card for my grandson... I used one of the boys from Penny Black Stamp #2453K Cool Friends ...the die cut letters and numbers are thickers from American Craft and series "remarks"....I just colored them with my SU markers..tore a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock and colored picture with SU markers

365 Cards # 23 - Stamp Design

A lot of people have asked me about the stamp design on this box....It is from the company KLM Designs
The digital designs are easy to work with and they have a GREAT price and always have a freebie to try ....you won't be disappointed in their designs and their shop....

The sentiment is from this set as well and I just printed and cut apart...I colored the flowers with copic markers and this is was my second coloring with them....I am still learning and having so much fun....

Sketch Girl # 3

This is my take on Sketch # 3.....I used Grey Basic CS from SU and layered with DP from Memory Makers " Vintage Finding" (that my friend Chris sent me) I love this paper...the stamp is JustRite 2" ...I used my PrimaColored Pencils and OMS to color the flowers.....natural twine and button from my stash...

I can not wait to see everyone's take on the Sketch.....Get out your stamps and paper and button and ribbons and join us this challenge... come on you can do it....

Copic Marker

I got some copic markers yesterday and had to color right away with them so I thought I would share a card I made and then 2 designs I just colored and haven't made into a card yet.... I have a lot of practicing to do with copics but going to love every minute of it....

Embossed Resist Technique

I have been looking for just the right giraffe stamp that I could afford and I found this beauty @ Whimsy Stamps. Another non active group I have been member of, is starting back up again and there is a challenge for emboss resist technique on a card...so that is why I made this card today... it is too dark and I did a poor job at distressing but love the giraffe... So here it is...and I think I am finished for the day....

Scrapbook Page

I DID IT !!!! I made my first scrapbook page in years..... I decided yesterday I was going to make a scrap page again and do it this week so I could get in on the challenge from Scrap and Stamp blog...the challenge was to create a scrap page and on it had to have a stamping and embossing... I used DP paper from my long unused papers and I used SU's stamp set "Love You Much" and stamped the hearts with VersaMark and embossed with clear embossing powder from SU. Then punched them out with the corresponding 3 heart punch from SU and adhered them with dimensionals.

I will have to continue to do a page often and get back in the habit.

Oh.... I made my page 6X6....

Happy Wednesday

I got these cards done today and later this week will post the cards from our shoebox swap last night...I am telling you those ladies are so very talented and have good cooks and great fun...I just got the new wood grain background stamp from SU and can't stop using it...I used it on my card last night and attempted on two Owl cards today....and made my first Halloween card today and love how it turned out...

I finished my Sketch Girl DT card today and have it edited and ready to go on the 15th and maybe a sneak peek a few days early...
