Rupert says Happy Birthday

Isn’t Rupert just the cutest dragon ever?  He is a new stamp by Stamping Dragon Designs at Digital-Ink Co. I love him so much so wanted to really show him off on this card.  I colored him with Copic Markers and used a piece of birthday patterned paper i had in my scrap bag and also a piece of blue-grey card stock from my scrap bag as well.  This was a quick and easy card to make .  I think a pre teen child would love to get this Rupert Birthday card for their birthday…. Oh, shoot I would love to get this Rupert card for my birthday.

Look at these cute Snow Babies…. by M&M Designz

I am on the Design Team for M&M Designz and I choose this adorable stamps from their store at Digital-Ink Co.  There are several of the snow babies stamp and right now the store has 50% off everything.  So you need to go get you some fantastic stamps.

I colored this stamp with Copic Markers and tore the paper for a more dimensional look.  I added the Ranger Stickles for sparkle and the snow flakes are brads i cut the back part off and glued on with glue dots.  The music is a piece of old music and I made a copy of it and cut a small piece off and then tore it and distressed it…. I did this to give a more vintage look and then I added little black buttons as the wheels on the wagon.

Christmas Cards

I made these 2 Christmas Cards awhile ago but never posted them.  I think they are pretty even if I say so myself.  I heat embossed the poinsettias and then colored the darker poinsettia with Copic makers and the other with SU ink and blender pen.  The Copic markers definitely give a richer darker color and don’t “pill” the paper.  But the two together make a great combination.  I used a SU “pretty petals” folder to emboss the white cardstock .  And dotted it with Copic markers.   

Holiday Frenzy

Is that how you are beginning to feel?  I think most of us are feeling this way.  And it never fails that I forget someone or need an unexpected gift.  So this challenge from Digital-Ink Co. is to make a last minute card, tag, gift bag, box or anything as a last minute gift.

So I chose a note pad to give to someone for all those lists that we all make at this time of year.  The stamp of the Christmas decorated mail box was created by Stitchy Stamp.   You could use this stamp on an address note pad that you design.  Or a Christmas card list notepad.  These notepads are so much fun to make.
