Silent Night, Holy Night - Stille Nacht

I made this card and the whole time I was remembering one of our Christmas in Germany where my family on Christmas Eve visited the little church, St. Nicholas Church in the small village of Oberndorf, Austria. On December 24, 1818 the Christmas hymn Silent Night was sung in this church for the first time. And now this song is sung in 135 different languages and has over 200 different versions.

This beautiful stamp reminds me so much of the little church where Silent Night was sung for the first time. And all the wonderful memories of those snowy, cold Christmas that we spent in the beautiful country of Germany.

So friends, please allow me to present my card of St. Nicholas Church....

I made this card using Penny Black Stamp and the first challenge is from Friday Sketchers - Week 80 and for Lucy's Card Challenge #1 and it was a color challenge to use pale pink, aqua, and kraft..... So here we have it.... I love buttons can you tell ?????

I love this baby giraffe from Stamping Dragon Designs ...... It is the perfect image for a child's birthday card or even a baby card..... I am just so full of excitement and anticipation..... I have been invited to be on the Digital-Ink Co design team..... We have so many plans and a new challenge on the 30th of November with the NEW Design Team.... so all friends out there please join me and my fellow team member in these challenges that will be every other week..... That makes it easier to participate and not have the stress of every week ..... with the Christmas Holidays coming up we are all busy but most importantly it is the time to be with family and friends...

First Card for Stamping Dragon Designs

This is my first card for Stamping Dragon Designs. I love the vintage look of this paper and the stamp... I distressed the card to make the paper look more vintage and used copics with more subdued colors.

The designer paper was designed by Stamping Dragon Designs as well. She has beautiful digital papers and some correspond with the stamps like this one did..... The digital paper ( Holly Dayz Digital Paper ) and stamp (Holly Rose) are all available at Digital-Ink Co The prices are great here..... 3 cards...yahoo I had so much fun

I made 3 cards today but have to admit that I colored the images last night so it was just a matter of putting them together

The butterfly is a get well card for my friend that just had knee replacement.... hopefully it will brighten her day..... the DP is a small piece from a paper in my Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg collection that I won... I used another little piece on my next card too....

The owl card is from M&M Designz ..... I colored all of my images with my copics..... you must go to Digital-Ink Co and look at all the digital images and go especially to M&M Designz because her images are different and a really good price....

The third card the image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and this image is a special one because in buying it you help this situation "

My friend Jak Heath had a terrible tragedy in her extended family recently. They lost sweet little 16 month Layton to meningitis. In honor of him, and to help others, Jak is holding a Meningitis Search 4 a Vaccine Campaign.
