New Technique

Made this card today using the masking technique.... I have never tried it before but I am happy with the results. The stamp set is Stampin'Up hostess set God's Beauty. I have cased it from another website but I am sorry to say I can't find the paper where I wrote down the website. Please forgive me if it was yours and let me know so that I can properly give you credit for it....(making mental note....have to be more careful with those pieces of paper)

ShoeBox Swap

We had our group monthly get together last night and had a great time as always...We have such a great group I would love to invite you all to join us...

THANK You all for your prayers on my behalf....I have had a cortisone treatment to my hip and for 3 days have been pain free...I can tell by the end of the day that hip has about done all it will do but so far 3 days and no pain...I do have to be careful though and not over do it..... Thanks again for the prayer that have done up for my behalf....

Good Evening

I have sort of been under the weather lately....I have a hip that needs a replacement...I can't have the replacement just now but had a treatment today that hopefully will keep the pain under control...I have had to cancel some workshops lately and I am really sorry but after working all day I am exhausted and hurting when I get home. I am gonna be ok but just have to take and do things right now as I can. I know you all will understand.

A week ago I didn't know what this was but I signed up to swap some...Ok everyone else probably knew what it was but me....but just in case I am not the only one they are
Artist Trading Card....they are 3 1/2 X 2 1/2 and have a theme..... the one with a tree is "out on a limb" and the other is Ladybugs....

Second Saturday

Yesterday was the girls get together to eat, laugh, talk, and work on a craft. We all like different mediums for their crafts and we have been friends for years. Yesterday we had a potluck and there was a delicious salad with pears, apples, dried cranberries, nuts and a poppy seed dressing....hot chicken salad, cheesie corn, and bbq pork and for dessert a coconut pound cake.....oh my gosh we almost ate more than we laughed....and I made my niece who is also my downline this tote bag for her workshops.....

Cards for friends at Second Saturday

Every month on the second saturday a group of my friends and I get together to craft and eat and eat and laugh and have a good time. Tomorrow is the day so last night I made them a Happy Easter greeting....
