Here is my take on the fabulous sketch 8 from Leigh Ann ..... I thought since is last of October which is the month of Breast Cancer Awareness..... So I designed this card and used it at my Tuesday Night Group as my shoebox swap..... While we were making the cards we shared some personal experiences.....

Drum Roll, Please!

cards from Divine Secret Sis - Eloise

I received the most wonderful package the other day from my Divine Secret Sis Eloise.... It was a birthday package that contained all kinds of goodies.... 2 magazines, small little charms (a bunch), some premade embellishments, and this beautiful pin made from ribbon and these 2 beautiful cards.... I am so lucky ... I have made 2 fabulous Big Sis' with this ......

My New Look.......

I have a new fall colors and a second page to my blog..... VKDesigns Co. has done it again for me.... Veronica designed my blog and now she has changed the colors and added a second page for me....

I don't usually toot my own horn but for me today is a big day and a start on a new pathway of my life.... I have had lunch with friends and receiving so many birthday wishes I am so thankful for each and everyone of you.... you have touched my life in some way and I want you all to know that my life would not be what it is without you and your caring and thoughtful ways....

I knew there was something I wanted to do this morning ...... it is terrible to be 40 and forgetful..... LOL

Leigh Ann gave us a break this time but is a great sketch... I found this SU designer paper in my stash and I had never used it .... I liked the colors and was so simple...
I cheated and used it for my Tuesday night shoebox swap with my friends....

This is a card that a friend from my Copic Buzz group on Paper Craft Planet sent me for my birthday.... isn't it gorgeous... I have asked her how the paper is so sparkly and when I find out how she did it or what kind of paper it is I will let you know.... Thank you again Barbara L in CA....

Disappointed

Wanted to let you all know that my part of the event was a total failure.... no one was interested in the cards .... it might have been the wa=y i had them displayed but I really think it is the people around here.... they were interested in the jewelry which is no big surprise to me... so I am dishearted and not in too much of a mood to make anything....

But no fear everyone I will be bacccckkkk !!!!!!

Busy.....

I have been really busy getting ready for my Fall Homecoming event ..... I made bunches of cards over the last several months and will see how people like them.... here is a picture of the box of cards.... and 2 cards that I have made in the last couple of days.... I probably won't be posting again till the weekend and then I hope to show an empty box, which means they are all gone, and pictures of the event...

Penny Black Stamps

My source of Penny Black Stamps ( pbstamps.com ) now has a second online stamp store called RK Stamps and is carrying Stampabilities, Great Impressions, Lockhart, and Northwood stamps.

I have just spent the last hour there and looking around and have a wish list a mile long... I am telling you that you will NOT find these stamps @ a better price and this company is fab to work with....
