Here is my take on the sketch.  I did a valentine theme and used a digital stamp by Sew Many Cards.  I colored the wheelbarrow with my Copic Marker and cut it out.  It is adhered by dimensionals.  The paper is by My Minds Eye and the scalloped circle and the other 2 circles and heart are die cuts from the My Minds Eye.  The card base is SU card stock Very Vanilla.

So go on over and get out your papers and stamps and get inky and then show us your creation.

I also have entered this card in a challenge over at Sew Many Cards Challenge.  The challenge is to use a stamp of their and to show love….. I believe this card fits.  Jump on over there and show them what you have.

Another Leigh Ann Template – It’s A Keeper

My friend Leigh Ann, stampingwithannieb.blogspot.com,  has done it again and she just keeps coming up with the best and  useful templates.  She sells her templates at the small little shop called The Wild Flower Patch.  She sells her templates for $3.95 or $4.95.  And with that you get the photo and written tutorial and the templates.  They are so easy to do with her directions,  score lines, and cut lines.  And she now has this template in the SVG format so you can cut in on your Cricut with the SCAL program.  Everyone just has got to go and see all her new templates that she is releasing today.

012610 It's a Keeper B

012610 It's a Keeper C

I made the “It’s A Keeper” into a card keeper.  I made 4 card dividers for  birthday cards, get well cards, thank you cards, and all occasion cards.  Her template comes with the cut out that decorate the side panels and front.  So it was a no brainer to use some My Minds Eye Design Papers on the outside and to cover the dividers.  The keeper itself is cut from some SU confetti card stock.  Button are from Vintage collection of Papertrey Ink and tabs were cut with my Cricut in 2 different sizes and label were printed on computer and cut with SU punch.  Now all it needs are my cards organized and stored.  That is my next job.

Go visit the other design team members to see the other templates Leigh Ann is releasing today.

Digital-Ink Co. Challenge #15

Digital-Ink Challenge Blog

Pets and Babies Birthdays

Our directions for this challenge are to  create a card, tag, layout or item with either a pet or baby birthday theme and using the 4 primary colors, red, blue, yellow and green and one neutral color.

Here is my card for this challenge !!

HH_BDS_12510

Leo the Lion is a stamp created by Beary Dust Stamps, whose other stamps are found in Digital-Ink CoBeary Dusts Stamps are wonderful images.  And guess what else all of Digital-Ink Co. pet and baby stamps are 25% off for the rest of the month.

Now to the how and what I used to make this cute card,  if I do say so myself.  I colored Leo with my copic markers and then cut him out and adhered him to card with dimensionals.  I cut the colored circles with my circle punches and glued them to my Stampin’Up designer paper of grey and white checks.  The card itself is SU Real Red card stock.  Card is   4 1/4”  X  5 1/2”  (A2) size.

Digital-Ink Co. stamp creators gave us some wonderful stamps to work with and I am so very glad to be a part of this wonderful Design Team. They have given us so many great creations to share with you today and I look forward to seeing  all of your and your friends designs with one of Digital-Ink Co. stamps.  It will be so much fun to see your creation with the stamps and specifications. And what kind of friend would you be if you didn’t get all your friends to come and play along with us too. The more the merrier, I say.  And I know you want to win this GREAT blog candy by our sponsor Paper Wishes

And to make things even “more better” how about becoming a follower of mine and then when you go to our challenge blog become a follower there and then in comments say Harriet sent you. Did you get all that?   Hey,  all my friends are going to do this for me.

Sketch Girls #10 Challenge

It has been a long time since we have had a challenge but we are up and rolling again.  This sketch is pretty straight forward but was a fun one to do.

SG1010810 Mouse in Teacup SG#10For my stamp I used a digital stamp from Digital-Ink Co. and the stamp was created by M&M Designz.   This is Cecil and he is having sweet dreams in his tea cup bed.  I colored the stamp with my Copic Markers.  The image was cut out with Spellbinder Deckled Rectangle Die Cut.  I used SU CS for the card and stamped in same color, Old Olive SU ink.  The striped DP was in my scrap bag.  I distressed to give more of a vintage look.

So friends go on over to the Sketch Girl site and follow the other DT’s designs and creations.  We have a guest designer, Laurel Seabrook, this month.  Or you can follow the guest designer and the other DT’s from the right hand side of my blog.

This stamp was created by SEWN Together who is having a big blog hop.  So go to the start here and  Mr. Linky up your card that you made with one of  SEWN Together stamps.  Follow the blog hop direction for a chance to win great prizes.

10810 Happy Birthday Boy Sewn Together  Isn’t this the cutest stamp created by SEWN Together.  I colored the stamp with my Copic markers and cut a piece of Chocolate Chip cs from SU and faux stitched with white gel pen around the edge.   The checkered dp is from Making Memories “Just Chillin’” 6X6 pad.   The Happy Birthday stamp is from Close to My Heart “Dainty Thoughts”.  I faux stitched with SU Chocolate Chip marker around the edge of the card.

Digital-Ink Co Stamps

I want to share these 2 cards that I designed  using 2 of the stamps that were given to the Design Team of Digital-Ink Co as a welcome gift.  It was such a delightful gift with wonderful stamps from the different stamp creators.

Our first challenge with the new Design Team will be January 25, 2010.  We are all so excited to get started working with these stamps and the challenges that we have set up for you.  A hint of what the challenge might include has something to do with the stamps of babies and animals that are on sale in the store.

10810 Lexi mushroom ladybug cards

This stamp of the Mushroom lady bug is by the newest creator in the store.  Lexi’s Creations have so many cute and wonderful stamps.  I use some Cosmo Cricket ( one of our past sponsors) Early Bird designed papers and cut the stamp out with Spellbinders deckle rectangle die cut.  I colored the image with my Copic markers.

10810 A Vintage lady card stitchy

This card was designed using Stitchy Stamps from Digital-Ink Co.  This stamp is in a Series called “Timeless Beauty Series - Daisy” .  These beauties are definitely timeless and I wanted to give this stamp a vintage look .  I distressed with PTI Chai  and dark brown Color Box Chalk ink, around a piece of design paper from Making Memories “Vintage Finding”.  (My friend Chris gave me this wonderful 8X8 pack of paper.)  I colored the image with my Copic marker and distress around the edges of the stamped image that I had cut out in a circle.  The card  is from PTI and is the kraft cs and the turquoise is a scrap from SU.  I distress all the edges and then added faux stitching with a Chocolate Chip marker from SU.  Happy Birthday was stamped with Only Orange ink from SU and the stamp is from Hero Arts.

Both of these stamps are available at Digital-Ink Co.  Hurry on over and get them…you won’t be sorry.
