Penny Black Cards

I made these note cards using Penny Black's "Flower Gallery" ( 30-031 - $11.50 plus postage @ pbstamps.com . I heat embossed the flowers and then colored them with SU inks and SU blender pens. I love this technique.

Teddy is the stamp called "Team Effort" (#2980 K - $10.00 plus postage @ pbstamps.com.). I colored this stamp with SU markers.

Yipee

I have been busy with paper work toward my retirement...I am not working now and turning in the paper work today so hopefully this afternoon I will be posting some things I have made. Girl friends had a showbox swap last night so going to share their swaps here as soon I get the pics edited... my goal is in the next week to be able to post something everyday ... I am excited and looking forward to this new path in my journey called living....

Sunday Afternoon

Today has been very peaceful and after all the excitement yesterday I am thankful...I have been in craft room (for which I am even more thankful because it could be gone)all afternoon... I have made 2 cards and 2 matching envelopes for my friend who has asked for cards and envelopes because her daughter goes in the military Thursday and her husband is going to Iraq soon...so she wants really special cards and envelopes...

I also made my card for my shoebox swap Tuesday night...I used SU stamp set Razzle Dazzle and Oval All for the sentiment....pale plum, old olive, and white CS. The DSP is the Razzleberry Lemonade. I used scalloped oval and scalloped border SU punches. The ribbon is also the new SU RazzleBerry with the dots on the back side....Was quick and easy !!!! And I am all about quick and easy.....

Excitement @ my House

A huge limb the size of a tree fell at my house and all that saved me, my son and my dogs were the power lines.... the only damage was to the over hang at the back door... and when it happened I thought that a small limb had fallen ... wrong...well sort of wrong was a huge limb... but it has been moved and power restored to my house and neighborhood... and I am so thankful

Happy Friday

I have made these cards this week just have had so much to do and so little time didn't get them edited and posted....This week I have had 2 happy mails, my friend Chris sent me a hugh box of goodies with paper crafting things...papers and bling and flowers and she made two note pads for me to carry in my purse....then I received my prize from Paper Craft Connection...they sent me the whole SEI Mimosa collection....it is beautiful and so much wonderful paper and stickers and ribbons....I don't have that picture yet but will take it and post it probably tomorrow....

I have been coloring and coloring and made these cards.... Remember you can get all the Penny Black Stamps @ pbstamps.com.... the best prices and you can get all the old stamps... The Friend to Friend was stamped with #1106K Friendly Tea Time...Isn't it the cutest and was so much fun to color with colored pencils and Sansodor to blend and smooth out the colors...

The Teddy and Company Stamp set #30-034 is an acrylic set and the one I used is one of the set...I colored with my SU markers and not real happy with results but is cute all the same...You can also order this set from phstamps.com and REMEMBER to let them know that I sent you....

Sketch Girl Challenge #1

Here is my version of the Sketch Girl Challenge. I used Stampin'Up new colors, Bermuda Bay CS, Crushed Curry CS, Melon Mambo, and Rich Razzleberry Ribbon stripes, and cut small stripes, birthday border and the small circle from a piece of the DP Razzelberry Lemonade. The stamps are Stampin'Up stamps. And the card is SU kraft CS.
